Everyone tells us the same story:
Grow fast, scale hard, sell out, call it success.
We never bought that story.
MyCannaBod started in AZ on 4/20/24. Word of mouth and respect is how we grow.
We’re not chasing riches because we’ve watched what that chase does to people. It turns values into slogans, workers into line items, and communities into markets to be mined. Somewhere along the way, “winning” became more important than doing the right thing.
We stand with the invisible ones. The people doing work that matters but never gets credit. The underpaid, the overlooked, the ones holding everything together while being told to be grateful for scraps.
This isn’t about moral superiority. It’s about honesty.
False morals usually come from comfortable places. They sound clean, but they’re disconnected from survival. We don’t operate that way. Our choices come from lived experience, not boardroom ethics.
So when we say no to billionaires and tech giants screwing the world, it’s not performative. It’s alignment. We choose people over power. Crew over comfort. Long-term trust over short-term gain.
That doesn’t make us special.
It just makes us accountable.
If you’re here, it probably means you see it too. That quiet understanding that the world doesn’t change because someone gets richer, but because people decide to stand together and stop pretending this system is fine.
We’re not here to save anyone.
We’re here to build with those who refuse to disappear.
