"Not Yours" - New single from the My CannaBod Crew

Listen to get the full experience:

There's a word that doesn't get used enough anymore.

Sovereignty.

Not rebellion. Not chaos. Not defiance for the sake of it. Sovereignty. The clean, unshakeable truth that exactly one person has authority over your body, your mind, your choices. That person is you. MyCannaBod isn't a song. It's a declaration.

WHAT IS MYCANNABOD?
Every great pirate crew has a name. The name isn't just branding — it's a code. It tells you who belongs and who doesn't before a single word is spoken. MyCannaBod is our name. And like every great crew name, only one person can truly own it — you. Your CannaBod. Your rules. Your sovereignty.

We built this crew around one unbreakable principle: nobody gets a vote on what you put in your body, how you heal, how you think, or how you live. Not a badge. Not a brand. Not a law dressed up as care.

Just you. Steering your own ship.

THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND THE MUSIC

This song didn't come from anger. It came from clarity. The philosophy of sovereignty isn't new. David Hume built his entire understanding of personal identity around the idea that YOU are the only continuous thread running through your own experience. Friedrich Nietzsche spent his life arguing that self-mastery — not compliance — is the highest human achievement. We just set it to Amapiano, taiko drums, and a guitar that doesn't apologize.

The Break in the song says it plainest: A pirate isn't chaos. A pirate is consent. A line drawn clean. A code kept sharp. That's not rebellion. That's responsibility. The kind that comes from the inside, not the outside.

THE SOUND

We didn't want a genre. We wanted a flag. So we built one from scratch — Amapiano groove from South Africa, taiko ceremony from Japan, trap-pop stickiness, indie rock anthems, and a wall of electric guitar that lifts into a key change right when the philosophy lands hardest.

No singing. No long notes. Just a captain speaking plainly over a beat that hits every continent at once. Because sovereignty doesn't have a zip code.

JOIN THE CREW
This isn't a fanbase. It's a crew. The difference? A fanbase watches. A crew stands for something. If you believe that your body is yours —> fully, completely, without apology <— you're already one of us. MyCannaBod is just the name you give that truth.

Here's how you fly the flag:

Stream the song and share it with one person who needs to hear it.

That's what it means. That's the code. That's the flag. If that bothers you — you were never the crew. Welcome aboard.
